No surgery. No needles into the eyes. The safe and easy way.
Micro Acupuncture & Moxa
Micro Acupuncture 48 (MA-48)’s methods may be their last and only hope for many people with degenerative eye conditions. It located only in the hands and feet. MA48, a natural healing therapy, offer hope for vision restoration without drugs or surgical procedures. Depending on each individual's conditions, there will be some points around the eyebrow, but NOT into the eyes. Most of degenerative eye diseases will be treated with E-stim.
Moxibustion (Moxa) therapy is one of the best techniques to disperse cold-stagnation of Qi (energy) and blood in the eyes. There are few methods of using moxa: direct or indirect to the skin, needle moxa, Moxa-shells for the eyes. The basic idea of how moxa therapy works for retinal bleeding is similar to the mechanism of a pipe freezing and bursting in your house during the winter. The old pipes get cold and brittle, then crack. Laser surgery is like trying to "solder" the old brittle pipes; Injections are like "caulking" the leaks. In most cases, this is just patchwork and the pipes can easily burst again. The moxa therapy warms the vessels and increases the flexibility and latency of the weak blood vessels.
Herbal Medicine for Degenerative Vision Loss
A very basic Chinese herbal formula for vision is chrysanthemums (mums) flower and Lycii berries (goji berries or wolf berries), which nourishes the eyes and cools down heat. The chrysanthemums flowers clears inflammation and heat from the eyes. Goji berries are a primary vision tonic in the Chinese medicine. Goji contains vitamin C and riboflavin and is very high in beta-carotene which are very nourishing to the eyes. With each specific vision problems, the herbal formulas will be modified accordingly.
Acupressure & Eye Exercise
Acupuncture and Acupressure use the same points. However, acupressure uses the gentle but firm pressure of hands (not needles) on points. It is safe to do on yourself and others. Most points around the eyes. These points have specific function and can be used to increase circulation and blood flow to the eyes. Points can be stimulated with finger pressure, massage, micro current stimulation, and essential oil application.
1- Essential Oils: Apply oils around the eyes, NOT in the eyes or directly on the eyelids. You may apply the oils on specific acupuncture points or on reflexology points of the affected system.
2- Reflexology (Foot Therapy): soak the feet in warm water prior to commencing therapy, then apply essential oils and/or massage specific areas which are very easy to find by palpate around your foot to see if there is any tender areas. You can match up the tender areas with the reflexology chart to determine which organ systems are imbalanced.
